Who is Wim Hof?

Wim Hof got his nickname “The Iceman” by breaking a number of world records for his ability to withstand freezing temperatures. He attributes this ability to his Wim Hof Method. 

He started experimenting with cold water when he was 17. For the next 15 years he would plunge himself into freezing cold water daily, as well as evolve his breathing technique, which lays its theoretical foundations in the ancient Tibetan Buddhist practice known as Tummo meditation. His parents were heavily into yoga so he was no stranger to the benefits of mastering the breath. 

When his wife died tragically and suddenly around 25 years ago, he had a vision shortly after.
